Who we are

Lee Nation

James Leighton (Lee) Nation was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and is a proud member of the Tuscaloosa Academy Class of 2003. He earned his degree in Political Science from the University of Alabama in 2007 and went on to receive his law degree from Jones School of Law in 2010. With more than 15 years of experience, Lee has practiced across a wide range of areas, including family law, criminal defense, social security law, and immigration law. He now resides in Huntsville with his two children, where he continues to serve clients with dedication and integrity. Outside of his legal practice, Lee is a licensed USSF/AHSAA soccer referee, a hobbyist beekeeper, and is currently pursuing his Wilderness First Responder certification. He and his children are active members of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville.

Sree Ravi

With more than 18 years of legal experience, Sree Ravi brings extensive knowledge in family law, with a focus on high-asset divorce, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. A native of Athens, Alabama, Sree is a 1999 graduate of the Randolph School and earned his undergraduate biology degree from Birmingham-Southern College in 2003. He went on to receive his law degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2007. In addition to family law, Sree has handled matters involving wills and estate planning, landlord-tenant disputes, and DUI defense, giving him a broad base of experience to draw from in guiding his clients. He now lives in Huntsville with his two children and two doodles. Clients appreciate Sree’s ability to combine practical insight with compassionate advocacy, always working toward the best possible outcome. Sree enjoys golf, reading, and building Lego with his children.

Keely Smith

Keely Smith is a dedicated advocate who has quickly established herself as a dynamic force in the legal field since becoming an attorney in 2022. Growing up in the Sand Mountain area and being adopted out of foster care at the age of 13, Keely brings a unique perspective and deep personal understanding to her work. She graduated from Boaz High School in 2015 and earned her degree in Political Science from Jacksonville State University in 2019, before completing her law degree at Mississippi College School of Law in 2022. Keely’s practice is focused on family law, with particular experience in Department of Human Resources (DHR) matters, jurisdictional disputes, and adoptions. She is passionate about advocating for marginalized communities, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring their voices are heard and rights are protected. Her clients value both her tenacity in the courtroom and her empathy in guiding families through difficult transitions. She now lives in Madison, Alabama with her husband, Connor, and their two dogs, Archie and Elliott. Outside of her practice, Keely enjoys pottery, painting, and reading.
